Last updated June 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how socl.gg collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you access or use the service. By using socl.gg, you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

NURVA APP LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), operates the socl.gg website, platform, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how we collect, use, disclose, process, store, and protect your information when you access or use the Service.

This Policy applies to all users of the Service, including visitors, registered users, subscribers, and content creators (collectively, "you" or "your"). By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with any part of it, you must discontinue use of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify or update this Policy at any time, in our sole discretion. Such changes become effective upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. It is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly: when you create an account we collect your email address, username (slug), and password (which is stored only as a secure hash, never in plain text). We also collect the profile information you add (such as your bio, social links, custom badges, widget configurations, themes, music, and other profile content), the content and media you upload (such as images and avatars), and the information you provide when you contact us for support.

Payment information: when you make a purchase, payment is handled by our third-party payment processors (Stripe for card and bank payments, and NOWPayments for cryptocurrency), with payments processed by ZONVORO TECHNOLOGIES LLC on our behalf. We do not store full card numbers or sensitive payment details on our servers; that information is processed and stored by our payment processors in accordance with their own privacy policies and security standards.

Information we collect automatically: when you use the Service we collect usage and analytics data (such as profile views, link clicks, widget interactions, and engagement metrics), device information (such as device type, operating system, and browser), network information (such as your IP address), log data (such as timestamps, access logs, and referrer URLs), and general location data derived from your IP address (such as country, region, or city). We do not collect precise GPS location without your explicit consent. We also use cookies and similar technologies as described below.

Information from third-party services: when you connect your account to a third-party service (such as Discord, VALORANT, TikTok, Last.fm, or GitHub), we may receive information from that service as authorized by you, such as profile information, public data, activity or presence information, statistics, and the authentication tokens necessary to integrate with it.

Public information: certain information you provide is publicly accessible on your profile page (socl.gg/your-username), including your username, bio, social links, badges, widgets, and customization. You acknowledge that any information you make publicly available may be accessed by anyone on the internet and may be indexed by search engines or archived by third parties, and that we are not responsible for the use of such public information by others.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service; create and manage your account and authenticate your access; display your profile and content as you configure; generate analytics and insights about your profile; analyze usage to develop and improve features; send you service-related communications such as verification, password reset, receipt, and security messages; send marketing communications subject to your preferences and applicable law; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats; comply with legal obligations; enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements; and conduct legitimate business operations.

We may combine information from different sources for these purposes. We will not use your information for materially different purposes without providing notice and, where required by law, obtaining your consent.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including: ZONVORO TECHNOLOGIES LLC and our payment processors (Stripe and NOWPayments) for processing payments; Resend for sending transactional and other emails; Cloudflare for security and DDoS protection; and hosting and infrastructure providers for operating the Service. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us and are obligated to protect it.

Public profile information is, by design, accessible to anyone who visits your profile and may be collected, used, or disclosed by third parties such as search engines.

We may disclose your information where we believe in good faith that it is necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, or governmental requests; to enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements; to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others; or to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues.

In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or other business transaction, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will use reasonable efforts to ensure it continues to be handled in accordance with this Policy.

We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that does not identify you personally for business, research, or analytics purposes. We may also share your information with third parties for any other purpose with your consent.

How we protect your data

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit using TLS, secure hashing of passwords, access controls, security monitoring, DDoS protection, and a secure hosting infrastructure. We also offer two-factor authentication, which we recommend you enable.

Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You provide information at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. In the event of a security breach that may affect your information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

How long we keep your data

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

When you delete your account or request deletion of your information, we will delete or anonymize your personal information in accordance with our retention policies and applicable law, except where we are required or permitted to retain it for legal, compliance, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or backup purposes. Some information may persist for a limited period in backups before being removed.

Publicly accessible information, such as content on your profile, may remain accessible to third parties even after deletion if it has been indexed or archived by them, and we are not responsible for the continued availability of such information.

Cookies and tracking

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Service. These include essential technologies necessary for the Service to function (such as authentication and security), functional technologies that remember your preferences, and analytics technologies that help us understand how the Service is used.

Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent, but if you do so some parts of the Service may not function properly. Blocking or deleting cookies may require you to re-enter information or adjust your preferences.

Your rights and choices

You may access, review, and update your account and personal information at any time through your account settings or by contacting us. You are responsible for keeping your information accurate and up to date.

You may request deletion of your account and personal information through your account settings or by contacting us. Deletion may result in the loss of access to the Service and any data or benefits associated with your account.

You can opt out of marketing emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails or by contacting us. We may still send you service-related messages (such as verification, password reset, receipt, and security messages) that are necessary for your account.

Subject to applicable law, you may also have the right to receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format, to withdraw consent where we rely on it, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

Children's privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the Service. We recommend that parents and guardians monitor their children's online activity.

International data transfers

The Service is operated from the United Kingdom. Your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, the United States (for example, where our payment processor ZONVORO TECHNOLOGIES LLC operates), or other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country of residence.

Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take appropriate measures to ensure it receives an adequate level of protection, including through standard contractual clauses, adequacy decisions, or other appropriate safeguards required by applicable law. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers in accordance with this Policy.

Rights in the UK and Europe

If you are located in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland, you have rights under the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR, and applicable data protection laws, including the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability, the right to object to processing (including direct marketing), the right to withdraw consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Our legal bases for processing your personal information include your consent, performance of a contract with you, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service. To exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically within one month, which may be extended for complex requests). If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority; in the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Rights in California

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, the right to request deletion of your personal information, the right to correct inaccurate information, the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

We do not sell personal information. Sharing personal information with service providers as described in this Policy does not constitute a "sale" under the CCPA. To exercise your California privacy rights, contact us at [email protected]; we will verify your identity before processing your request.
